Just finishing up a 67 with L88 flares and offset trailing arms.  Can't find the BFG's that were on the car when I bought it (front 245/50 15 and rear 295/50 15).  Would have liked to have stuck with the 15" rims, but those 50 series tires are a thing of the past.  Does anyone have photos of a custom running 17" to 19"rims w/ 245 to 345 tires.  Few cars out there are running tire as large as mine has.  Need to fill those wheel wells.  Any suggestions?  All late model rims have a maximum back space of 4".  My 15's have a 3.25.  Finding the right wheel/tire combo is not so easy.  The 50's were perfect.

It took me a while, but I did find the tires I was looking for.  As far as I know Hankook is the only manufacturer that makes 15" 50 series tires in the sizes I was looking for.  They are the Ventus H 101 and come in a 265/50 15 (same exact size as a BFG 245/50 15 T/A Radial) and a 295/50 15 ( which is nearly identical to BFG's 295/50 15). Problem solved.  Even Discount Tire and Tire Rack were unaware that these tires existed!  Seek and hopefully you will find!

I know there are others looking for similar sizes for their cars, be it a Vette or other.  I hope this may help in  your search.
