AMYS Project StingrayA pictorial journey of a "frame off" for an all original 1965 Sting Ray coupe that sat for 23 years in N. San Diego county. It ended up in the hands of the founder of AMYS - Brian Pallas (3rd owner) who acquired the car from a fellow who had taken out the original engine and put a Winston Cup 350 in its place(Both engines came with the car (both engines came with the car). See the Album Dyno Day Sept 2003 to see just how powerful this little small block was (beat most of the big blocks and all the small blocks that day). Check back frequently as we complete the $12k paint/body work and put the car back together.

Naked Original 63 Split Window

This is a 1963 undamaged Sting Ray coupe that is regularly driven and has no paint or primer - you are looking at raw fiberglass with all its flaws, seams and factory touch ups.

If you see cracks in your paint this may help you determine the source. If you are thinking of replacing or repairing this will show you where the individual panels are.
