American Mid Year Society "AMYS"

The American Mid-Year Society (AMYS) was founded in April 2000 to enhance the ownership experience of Corvette enthusiast with a passion for the 1963 - 1967 Sting Ray. 

This unique body style was only produced in small quantities each year and a total of less than 120,000 were ever made.  They are affectionately referred to as "Mid Years" in part because the 60’s decade was the most memorable period in the American Muscle Car culture and the “Corvette Sting Ray” was a top dog on the street racing scene throughout those “middle years”.   

Because of thier rarity, AMYS encourages all owners to drive and show these unmistakable classic sports cars so the world can see what a great American icon they still are. And we're not judging them, whether they're a worn out survivor or trailer queen!  So be sure to check the events section, blog and forum on this site regularly for Mid Year events near you. 

Thankfully, the internet has enabled AMYS to grow and evolved over the years.  With this new website you'll have fun meeting like minded Sting Ray owners, locate hard to find parts, find the best repair services for your Sting Ray and take advantage of our advertisers who help us grow and improve this organization and your ownership experience.
